The international airport of Sheremetyevo and I.T. Co. announce implementation of an automated system of sound notification for passengers. The system will ensure a new level of informing passengers by voice in six languages.
Currently, the automated sound notification system (ASNS) has been implemented in four airport terminals (C, D, E and F) and provides announcements in the Russian, English and Kazakh languages depending on the flight destination. Full implementation of the system will make it possible to inform the passengers and airport employees by voice in six languages: about registration, boarding and luggage give-out, changes in flight schedule, take-offs and landings of airplanes, departure of Aeroexpress trains and shuttle buses, as well as provided services. The automated system is especially important for provision of information to passengers in critical situations.
The system duplicates all the voice messages with text displayed on the airport monitors, so that passengers with hearing disabilities could grasp the information.
The solution provided by I.T. Co. is highly reliable. The system works round the clock and has backup power sources which ensure uninterrupted voice notification for airport passengers.
Implementation of the automated sound notification system helps optimize production and human resources of the airport. Currently, about 3.5 thou voice messages are provided in the Sheremetyevo airport per day.
