I.T. Co. has increased the scope of expertise, focused on industrial automation
I.T. Co. has changed its structure by opening the Industrial Automation Department, based on the existing business-area. Firstly, these transformations reflect I.T. Co’s strategic purposes for expansion of business, related to industrial automation, and, secondly, indicate the amount of expertise and skills, which have been accumulating to enable the company to launch large-scale projects for different enterprises. The new Department is headed by Rodion Merzlyakov, head of the company’s Ural branch.

I.T. Co. industrial automation line has been developed successfully for many years with most of the effort focused on automation and supervision of building utilities. However, as expertise in this area grew together with the products portfolio, the company’s top management decided to create a separate business unit. The Industrial Automation Department is able to provide customers with a complete scope of services for automation of engineering and production processes, and for setting up and maintenance of utilities.

The Engineering Director of I.T. Co’s Industrial Automation Department is Igor Lobov. His earlier jobs were connected with managing deployment of automation systems for control of workflow and production facilities in oil & gas, petrochemical, metallurgical, power and food industries. In particular, Igor Lobov was involved in projects, launched by such companies as Rosneft, TNK-VR, LUKOIL, Gazpromneft, Bashneft, Tatneft, Norilsk Nikel, etc.

The dimension, which covers computer-aided management of buildings, supervision, power supply and sustainment for facilities and power management, is being developed by Valery Volobuev, Manager of the business area for Computer-Aided Management of Utilities.

The prospective growth of the team will be in Ufa, which has always been center for research and education, related to industrial automation. This doesn’t mean there are any territorial restrictions, as all I.T. Co's offices have been long working within single information space. The Industrial Automation Department is ready to implement projects in any part of Russia.

“The establishment of the new department is a logical step in the company’s development, based on the needs of our customers. The industrial automation market is large, and I.T. Co. has everything to increase its presence on this market,” says Rodion Merzlyakov. “Right now we are in the process of developing competencies, reinforcing the team and enhancing our activity. Soon we are planning to substantially increase the number of industrial automation projects.”
