I.T. Co. attended the second conference of "IDC Enterprise Mobility Roadshow 2013. A new round of IT development" as a Platinum Partner. The company presented a detailed review of modern corporate mobility technologies and conducted the first broad demonstration of MobileSputnik, an innovative software product for organizing corporate mobile workplaces.
On April 3, 2013, the second IDC conference was held in Moscow, devoted to the current state and future prospects of the Russian corporate mobility market. The conference attendees were able to discuss burning issues in business mobilization, in regard to mobile strategy for IT managers, the organization of corporate mobile workplaces, the provision of security for mobile applications and devices, the protection of corporate data and infrastructure, management of the life-cycle of mobile devices, the BYOD concept and others.
A report by Sergey Orlik, Director of I.T. Co. Corporate Mobility Center, was devoted to a review of the functional and technological approaches and solutions required to provide for the business application of modern smart phones and tablet devices. The review is focused on a corporate mobility map, which is a tool for business mobilization planning and which describes the classes of corporate mobile solutions – mobility infrastructure, applied and business solutions, which turn mobile devices into fully-functional user workplaces integrated into the corporate IT landscape.
The MobileSputnik software product developed by MobilityLab, which is part of I.T. Group and a resident of the Skolkovo Fund IT cluster, was presented to the general public. MobileSputnik is a unique solution for the problem of transferring ordinary PC functionality to iOS and Android tablets and ensuring comfortable and safe work with Windows and Sharepoint corporate file resources, and is the first in the world to include a fully-functional integrated office package compatible with Microsoft Office. Those attending the conference were able to see and test the main functional possibilities of MobileSputnik at IT's display case.
