I.T. Co. Smart Systems, part of the I.T. Group, has implemented an IT-AI system for automatic registration and inventory checks at the Inter-District Price Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The bar-code based solution provided an efficient way of recording the institution's assets.
The Inter-District Price Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia was founded in April 2012 to monitor compliance with tax laws relating to pricing and to provide price information support to the bodies of the Federal Tax Service, other governmental and local authorities, and taxpayers.
Information technologies play an important role in the Price Inspectorate's activities. In order to achieve high efficiency quickly, many of the Inspectorate's processes were automated on time. In addition to other spheres, the Inspectorate management decided to automate asset recording and inventory check.
To realize the idea, I.T. Co. Smart Systems offered the optimum solution in terms of its functions and cost efficiency, which has stood the test of time.
In 10 days, experts from I.T. Co. Smart Systems deployed a hardware and software solution including a data collection terminal, a 2D bar-code printer for asset tags, and the IT-AI application. This solution enabled the following tasks to be solved:
- receiving accurate data on asset availability and location (office furniture, PCs, etc.)
- Simplified and fast inventory check
- Reduction of errors in the records, and
- Simplified document flow.
IT-AI helped to dramatically simplify the process of asset recording and inventory check at the Inter-District Price Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. In addition, the labor costs of asset recording were reduced, since the IT-AI system makes it possible automatically to transfer data to accounting solutions based on the 1C Enterprise platform.
