I.T. Co. Improves Model of TNK-BP Retail Business


I.T. Co. developed a model of retail business for TNK-BP, which allows the oil company to move to new more profitable retail concepts. This model is recognized by TNK-BP as a corporate standard for the organization of fuel stations networks and retail management companies. TNK-BP plans include replication of the developed business model throughout their network of fuel stations.

TNK-BP, one of the leading oil companies in Russia, is one of the Top10 largest private oil companies in the world in terms of oil production. The company owns five refineries in Russia and Ukraine. A major contribution to TNK-BP's business is retail product sales, which is realized through a network of 1,600 fuel stations operating under the brands TNK and BP, including franchises.

TNK-BP's own retail network consists of over 600 fuel stations managed by 10 regional offices. According to the company's retail business concept, there are mini-cafés, oil product related shops, and food stores operating at the fuel stations.
