I.T. Co. has completed the creation of the technological core of telecommunications infrastructure virtualization system for Samaraenergo PJSC. The "Cloud modernization" included hardware, virtualization systems implementation and organization of telecommunication infrastructure core. The result is a high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable virtual environment with high economic efficiency.
Samaraenergo PJSC is largest energy company of the Middle Volga region, which supplies about 69% of the total electricity consumption of the Samara region, has offices and customer service centers in all cities and districts of the region. The existing IT infrastructure hardly met the growing needs of the customer, so in order to improve the efficiency of information and communications services, it was decided to create a high-performance fault-tolerant scalable virtual environment.
Having analyzed the current situation I.T. experts suggested the customer to create a private cloud using existing data center resources already by upgrading the existing computing infrastructure, as well as the migration of information systems and jobs to the new cloud platform. This option was a perfect fit for Samaraenergo, since it allows for a greater flexibility, stability and security of IT resources.
The "Cloud modernization" included hardware, virtualization systems implementation and organization of telecommunication infrastructure core. Within the project in VMware vSphere 6 virtual infrastructure the system of the telecommunications infrastructure core organization based on Cisco Unified Communication Manager software was introduced and further connected to a monitoring system on the basis of Microsoft System Center product. In addition, Cisco Webex Meeting Server was used for conferencing, and the computing devices park was supplemented by the new high-performance computing and telecommunications equipment.

On completion of the services migration to the cloud, in March 2016 the telecommunications infrastructure technological core virtualization system of Samaraenergo PJSC was put into commercial operation. The final stage of the project entails training, warranty technical support and servicing of the deployed solution at the customer's 39 sites located in the territory of the Samara region.

The coverage of Samaraenergo PJSC as supplier includes all cities and administrative districts of the region (10 cities, 27 districts).
