To reduce its costs needed to support and operate the corporate system of cashless payments for fuel, Petrol Plus, and filling station control system, DOSA-Terminal, Taimyr Fuel Company CJSC (TTC, a subsidiary of Norilsk Nickel) moves to a unified solution, I.T. Oil, which met the requirements in the tender to replace two separate solutions.
As part of the project, which involved the deployment of a single processing center, the I.T. Oil system, including APCS for filling stations, a smart card-based cashless pay system, and integration with the existing ERP system, I.T. Smart Systems' specialists prepared project design documentation and made required changes in the system for its subsequent deployment.
After the test deployment at filling stations, they performed the replication of the system and put it into commercial operation at five filling stations and a number of vehicle fleet operators (VFO) in the Norilsk industrial area, TTC's clients. In addition to the filling station integrated automation, I.T. Smart Systems also provided 35 VFOs, that are part of MMC Norilsk Nickel, with the equipment needed for effective and easy operation, such as POS machines to manage fuel consumption by utility vehicles.
The automation using the I.T. Oil industry solution gave TTC a leading-edge technology platform for high-quality accounting of fuel consumption by its in-house vehicles, as well as a cashless pay tool to manage fuel sales through its filling stations, which helps significantly reduce the operating costs of the company.
