I.T. Co. BPM project for Alfa Bank wins Global CIO's Project of the Year 2014 award.
Global CIO names the project for Pega PRPC business process management system integration for Alfa Bank by I.T. Co. as the best Russian IT project under "The Best Solution In The FIeld / BPM" nomination.

The Project of the Year award is hosted by Global CIO, largest Russian community of Chief IT Officers. The competition is open and accessible: any Chief IT Officer registered at Global CIO online portal may participate, discuss, comment on and vote for the best project. Projects are judged by the following criteria: scale of the project, technological complexity, importance for the organization and for the IT industry. This year, 134 projects were nominated, with 1500 Chief IT Officers, members of Global CIO professional community, taking their part in voting.

The project for Alfa Bank's BPM system integration was named the best in BPM (Business Process Management) category, with 7 other projects presented. During the ceremony that took place on January 29, the organizers presented the award to Martin Piletski, Head of IT, Alfa Bank, and Aleksey Lapshin, Head of Project Service Center, I.T. Co.

The goals of the project included: increase in the number of payroll accounts by 10%, decrease of the time of payroll account customer engagement; centralization of payroll account customer engagement communication data storage; information security, increase in interdepartmental coordination.

As of now, Alfa-Bank has completed the first stage of works on the implementation of the Pega PRPC business process management system. PegaRULES Process Commander platform (PRPC) is a Pegasystems product which, according to independent experts, is one of the best BPM class systems for financial institutions.

The project was aimed at increasing the efficiency of managers who work with payroll customers and is interesting because it was implemented under the SCRUM methodology for the first time in Russia. To effectively use flexible methodology during Pega PRPC implementation, I.T. Co. specialists were being educated by own efforts (on practice) as well as with the vendor's foreign coaches.
